Aloha! My name is Mrs. Kawainui and I was born and raised here on Oahu. I am a proud graduate of Radford High School and even had the privilege of attending Makalapa Elementary from kindergarten to sixth grade. Once a Junior Ram, always a Junior Ram! 

 

I have been teaching at Makalapa since 2012, working with first and second graders. This year is my first year working as a Curriculum Coach.

 

I am so excited to work with you all this school year!
