The Leader in Me

Makalapa students learn that they too are leaders in the school. The Leader in Me Program was introduced to parents during our November family movie night. Click to see the video!

Drop Off Students at the Bus Shelter

Please refrain from stopping in front of C-building and the Main Office to drop off children as this behavior creates traffic and a backlog of cars headed east and west along Salt Lake Blvd waiting to turn into our driveway. We ask for your respectful consideration for our school morning procedure and student safety by driving to the student drop off area at building F.

We also remind you to refrain from making a U-turn in front of our Main Office. This behavior endangers the safety of our children and parents while creating frustration for parents who patiently wait their turn to exit our parking lot.

To reduce the traffic in the parking lot, parents are advised to have your child ready to exit the car. Having student backpacks and bags zipped and ready to go prior to arriving at the drop off area will lessen the wait for everyone in the drop off line.

Your kokua is greatly valued.
